✿ Hatsune Miku Episode Bonus page ✿

This episode was one of the earliest ideas I KNEW I wanted to make one day. Doing an interview with Miku is just such a fun idea and it's very "lol internet".
Also I'm not sure if I mentioned this anywhere but Manon and Cybermare were originally gonna be voiced by Synthesier V! A Vocaloid-type software! I remember giving it a shot but this would have been super time consuming and the results would have been worse than the 15.AI voices.

Before the episode about the rules of the internet was even teased, I shared this Miku fanart online along with the following "bonus miku because i think these two would get along pretty well"

I was already teasing the concept of Manon and Miku interacting back then lol.

Pinning down how Miku should look in the episode, I really like how it turned out! Very cute!

I drew this Miku when I was having a hard time using Miku's voice. I was thinking maybe someone else could generate the voicelines but I managed to get better! It was a pain though! Having to manually generate every vowels and pitches alongside the software being a crappy trial version... It demanded quite a lot of patience. I would NOT want to work with Miku again, she's a pain in the butt!!

I usually don't share storyboard panels with the leakers as I'm making an episode but look how cute she is!! I needed to show other people immediatly!!

Ok episode time

The LOVEWEB Intro Miku cover was by /u/Roavello ! I barely remember how I came across them. I'm pretty sure I randomly came across their Miku covers on Reddit and just asked them if they could do the LOVEWEB intro lol.
Also looking at the pastebin for credits and sources again and whoops, looks like it's been stuck in WIP form for years now. I never really bothered finishing up the source section because this is a pretty surface level episode in terms of informations. Looking back I would never wanna make an episode with such shallow amount of research.

The way Miku moves after each syllables is just how Friday Night Funkin characters move lol. It could have looked better though, just skewing the whole character isn't every interesting visually.

This bit foreshadows the ending of the episode. The design of Miku in the episode itself has antenas on top of her head because she's just the voice software controlled by Manon. This probably could have been clearer in her design that something was up.

This is just a bit inspired from Friendship is Witchcraft lol.

Woa! You can even see Manon has Piapro Studio on their computer! (This is the software that now owns Hatsune Miku)
I actually completely forgot this was the name of the software. Vocaloid is such a better name. I bet most people don't even know Vocaloid doesn't own Miku anymore.

You may figure that Manon does a lot of the talking during the interview because again, the program is a pain to work with when it comes to normal english sentences.

I guess this is the closest there'll ever be to a LOVEWEB episode about Nyan cat. A full episode was something that's always been in the ideas list... But as more time goes on... There's more and more unfornutate Nyan cat stuff that's gonna have to be talked about and I don't think the episode is gonna end well...

I just wanna share this face Miku makes when Manon starts bringing up the Domino's pizza collab. 0_0

Thought it would be funny and fresh to elaborate on the "Miku made Minecraft" joke by giving her a motivation as to why she made Minecraft.
There was a pretty noticable amount of comments who didn't get the joke and needed to rectify how "actually Notch made Minecraft". Some even got pretty defensive in their tone, you could tell they got a bit offended by Notch erasure lol.

TalkNet was used for the singing Manon since it was the first website to provide a way to make MLP characters sing with any reference audio. It doesn't sound good at all sadly, and it took a lot of tweaking to get it to sound just eh lol. Also it's noted that TalkNet is being used because 15.AI doesn't want their website to be mixed up with another.
I feel bad for anyone who wished for a full version in the comments, there never was any plans to make one, Manon just said that!!
